The Spirit of a Holiday

We hope you enjoyed the images of our château, the fine grounds and surrounding area. There was no wish to provide an inventory, or hotel type brochure shots, when you are considering a holiday to lift your spirits and fill your memories. This takes more than pre-packaged luxuries, our château may offer comfort but beyond all else is a home we love sharing, so you can share your holiday with others.

An Experience For All

Our guests range from those in a tiny cot, to children who love space, adults who find every vibrant facility they could wish for locally and those who are pleased to take life a little slower. If you take a look at a few of the comments from our guests, they share a theme, their holiday brought them together.

Not a reason to spend each day in the same place, or all pursuing the same activities. With so much choice in the region that would be unlikely and in a way an opportunity missed, sharing in the activities and enjoyment of others in your party is part of a château holiday. The times spent over a supper of local produce, or a casual glass of wine as memorable as any.

We gave all our thought in renovating the château to making this a place to relax, feel at home. This is a grand building but not overcome with grandeur, much more about peace and a place to enjoy life's pleasures.

Space to Reflect

Normandy itself offers such a variance of space, where you can move seamlessly from traditional countryside to elegant towns, or a quiet beach for an evening stroll. Château de Tourgéville in many ways mirrors this.

The grounds are a piece of Normandy's sublime nature in themselves, there are rooms within the château where your whole party can get together, or places for more private moments. The house embodies the region.

We also recognise that however much is thought through, you can still have personal requirements to ensure your holiday works for everyone in your party. That's a wish we share and are always happy to ensure each person has a time to cherish.
