Renting a Chateau

Guests on the chateau steps
March to April - Party of 14.

"We fell in love with your wonderful chateau from the minute we arrived, until we reluctantly left. This was the first time we had holidayed together for 33 years. Could have been a disaster - all those grown up egos - but the holiday was enormously successful. We all had our own favourite thing, my brother up early to see the barn owl, my sister took the girls riding, my dad, husband and son are into WW2 and enjoyed visiting the Normandy beaches. We went go karting, ate out quite a lot, visited friends, enjoyed the Pont L'Eveque market and returned to relax in our favourite corner of the house."

May to June - Party of 14 friends and family from Surrey.

"With so many people in the group, we were concerned that we would get in each other's way. No chance, gorgeous and spacious rooms, lovely grounds for the children to play in safely, a well equipped kitchen and every convenience we could have asked for. The chateau exceeded our expectations."

August - Party of 16 from County Kerry.

"We had a wonderful time. We went everywhere, including the American film festival on two days. Another day, friends visited us from Paris, eighteen in the chateau for meals and there was space for everyone."

August - Party of 14.

"The chateau was easy to locate, thanks to your directions. At first sight an imposing and impressive building, on entering, we found it to be a comfortable home of character too. We are an English/French family, so we holiday together once every 2 to 3 years. For those who are retired, that could be a little overpowering at times but the chateau and gardens provide so much space that everybody can do their own thing. From boules to cricket, rugby tackles and all, football, rounders, hide and seek. One daft afternoon we played leapfrog, that was a miracle with my arthritis. We had a wonderful time together."

November - Party of 11 from London.

"I myself was able to make it out to the chateau for only a couple of nights, due to pressure of work but it was such fun and so relaxing for all of us. Most of our group are used to holidaying in damp, cold, draughty houses in Scotland, your warm holiday home was sheer luxury. It was a blessed break for all of us from London."

New Year - Party of friends from West Sussex and Edinburgh.

"The chateau has been a great New Year venue, very comfortable. We felt instantly at home here - The open fire has provided lots of warmth and a great place for laughter!"
